Charges as from 1st Nov 2023.

The weekly charges for Kincarrathie House range from £1000 to £1024 per week payable one month in advance by bankers order. The variation in charges is due mainly to the accommodation chosen.

Some residents may qualify for the free Personal Care Allowance of £233.10 per week and this would reduce the above charges.

The charge covers the provision of the undernoted services:

• Accommodation
• Food
• Lighting
• Heating
• Laundry
• Personal Care, which would normally be required by a resident of a care home

Should a resident be self-funding and their capital funds reduce to a level of £32,750 a referral will be made to the Local Authority to assist with payments. This will be discussed with the resident or their advocate before such a referral is made and will be made with their consent.

This will not affect any aspect of the care provision, the only change being the source of income to Kincarrathie House Care home.
